A staffing network built around the industrial shift
PSTemp Staffing Network is operated by P & S RECRUITMENT LIMITED, and we work in one part of the market: temporary industrial staffing. That means we spend our time on warehouse and picking work, production and packing lines, forklift and counterbalance driving, loading and dispatch, and the general labour that keeps a site moving when a shift has to be filled. We do not try to be everything to everyone.
Most of the calls we take come from site managers and operations staff who are short of people at short notice. A container has arrived earlier than expected, a night shift has gone thin because of illness, or a contract has landed and the headcount has to rise before the end of the week. We take the requirement as it comes and look at what can realistically be covered.
When you get in touch, we ask for the practical details first: the roles you need, how many people, the site address, the shift pattern and the date you want them to start. Pay rate, any licences or certificates, and whether the work is ongoing or for a fixed period all help us match the right people. The more of that you can put in your message, the fewer questions we have to come back with.
We keep the arrangement straightforward. Workers are placed on a temporary basis, we hold the employer responsibilities that go with that, and you deal with us rather than with each individual. If a placement is not working out on site, you tell us and we deal with it. Our role is to make the shift work, week in and week out.
